No matter what the out of hours, overnight or mobile needs are, Indigo has a GP to suit you.

We already regularly supply GPs to a variety of out of hours sites, with various different shift types us on both a short term and long term basis, ranging from a single shift through to regular, weekly or even months at a time. We arrange cover for all types of Out of Hours sessions, including centre based sessions ie telephone triage & face to face consultations and also home visiting sessions that are the back bone of the Out of Hours service.

We hold an unparalleled database of GPs, many with special interest in out of hours work who are skilled in the use of the Adastra clinical system as well as other surgery based clinical systems such as EMISWeb, Vision and TTP SystmOne and clinical support systems like Docman.

All of our GPs are rigorously checked, and we hold detailed information on file about them including indemnity and DBS/CRB checks and we update them regularly with the mandatory training requirements such as Basic Life Support and Safeguarding with our own in house courses.

Typically for Walk in Centre and Urgent Care Centre bookings we request:

• Your contact name and telephone number (or the Centre managers)
• Address of your Centre
• Dates and times you need cover for
• Which computer system(s) you use (Adastra etc)
• Whether you require telephone triage, face to face consultations (in Centre) or home visiting.
• Confirmation that each patient consultation will be minimum 10 minutes (face to face & home visiting), 5 minutes for telephone triage
• Confirmation that if the session is home visiting the GP will be provided with a driver/chaperone
