Our all-encompassing database of nursing staff contains a huge variety of nursing staff from advanced nurse practitioners, practice nurses and even healthcare assistants, many of whom have a special interest in out of hours or overnight work.

All of our out of hours nurses are proficient in the use of a wide variety of clinical systems, including Adastra, EMISWeb, Vision and TTP SystmOne and we will only supply you with a nurse who can already use your clinical system effectively.

We ensure that the locum nurses we provide are rigorously checked, and hold detailed information on file about them such as DBS / CRB checks, and we ensure that we supply them with updates to mandatory requirements such as basic life support and safeguarding with complimentary courses so you can be sure your patients are in safe hands.

Typically for Walk in Centre and Urgent Care Centre bookings we request:

• Your contact name and telephone number (or the Centre managers)
• Address of your Centre
• Dates and times you need cover for
• The type of cover required e.g. advanced nurse practitioner
• Which computer system(s) you use (Adastra etc)
• The type of shift required e.g. telephone triage, face to face consultations (in Centre) or home visiting.
• Confirmation that each patient consultation will be minimum 10 minutes (face to face & home visiting), 5 minutes for telephone triage
• Confirmation that if the session is home visiting the GP will be provided with a driver/chaperone
